Hear accounting Professor Maria Kapardis, editor of The Palgrave Handbook on Modern Slavery, share her insights on the manifestation of 50 million modern slaves across the globe. There will also be time for Q&A.
Professor Kapardis’ research interests are corruption and anti-corruption, ethical behaviour, fraud detection, investigation and prevention, ethical leadership and modern slavery. Maria served as the country expert on corruption for the European Commission for a number of years and she has been awarded a number of prizes for her academic publications as well as community outreach.
